Forr Mobility will only supply rise recline chairs in an area that we can service. ie, within a radius of approx 30 miles of our Aldington Showroom.
A range of options and accessories are available for the Primacare range of rise recline and upright chairs, the exact cost of each chair depends on the specification of the chair and the fabric chosen. Delivery for these chairs is usually in the region of 3-4 weeks from order.



primacare antimacasser Antimacassar - An antimacassar may be used for any of the chairs to help prevent staining or marking of the fabric behind the sitter’s head




Primacare armcaps Armcaps - Pair of armcaps for riser recliner chairs. NB: These are a loose fit and may not fit snugly. Please note they may slip during the rising movement of the chair and we advise removing them before operating the seat rise action to ensure user safety.



Primacare neck pillow Neck Pillow - A soft and comfortable neck pillow on an adjustable weighted flap, with a zip at rear to allow access so thickness of roll may be reduced if required.




primacare head cushion Head cushion - A comfortable Soft hollow fibre head or neck cushion on an adjustable weighted flap.




primacare lumbar cushion Lumbar cushion - A loose comfortable Soft hollow fibre lumbar cushion in matching fabric.




primacare scatter cushion Scatter cushion - A loose comfortable Soft hollow fibre scatter cushion in matching fabric.




primacare removable duvet Removable duvet - All the armchair riser recliners may be supplied with the option of a detachable wrap to assist cleaning or to allow the wrap to be replaced should it become soiled. This wrap is fastened with Velcro behind the back of the seat and underneath the end of the legrest.



primacare adjustable headrest Adjustable headrest - A manually adjustable headrest which can move the top headroll forward by up to 3".





Primacare lateral support back Lateral support back - A pair of lateral support cushion to help with maintaining a correct seating position.



keylock handset Keylock Handset - Handset is inoperable if the key is removed from the key slot as a safety precaution to prevent inappropriate use of the chair. NB: It is important to check that the key could not accidentally be removed without the sitter’s knowledge so that the person is not left stranded in the chair.


Primacare massage handset Massage and heat - 10 motor massage unit with massage onseat, backrest and footrest, available with heat control.





Hazard sensor device Hazard sensor device - Available on all A.J.Way riser recliner chairs except Multi 6, the hazard sensor consists of a sensor strip around the underside of the chair base which detects an obstacle in its way as the chair is lowered. The chair action stops & lifts slightly away from any obstacle. Does not cover recline or footrest movement.


Primacare battery back up 2 Battery back up - All our riser recliner chairs come complete with basic battery backup which can be used once on a set of batteries to return the chair to normal sitting position. In areas with frequent power cuts we recommend a rechargeable battery backup pack or an AccuPack system. The rechargeable battery backup unit plugs into the transformer. When fully charged it should allow approximately 30 - 40 operations of the chair.


primacare visco foam Visco foam cushion - Visco elastic foam fitted in place of the usual seat foam to provide support and pressure distribution.




primagel cushion Primagel cushion -A High resilient foam with a silicone gel sac help to distribute pressure in areas of high loading.




primagel plus Primagel plus cushion - A High resilient foam with a silicone gel sac and visco elastic foam provide unrivalled pressure distribution.
