This bathchair has a wooden body
covered in material for the seat and
backrest, with horse hair as cushioning. the back is sprung like a
settee and the chassis has leaf spring suspension.
The chair was acquired in need of a lot
of restoration, the seat covering having rotted
and the chassis was broken.
